Al Sakinat Fi Koloubina: The Bad Consequences Of Secret Marriages
This week’s episode of Al Sakinat fi Koloubina on MBC discussed the issue of secret marriages and their bad consequences.
In the story plot Jawaher, a young lady, falls in love with an elder and married poet called Nabil. Despite her mother’s total refusal, Jawaher marries Nabil agreeing to live with him in total secrecy and no children. Yet and as it is expected in most secret marriage stories, Jawaher gets pregnant and changes her point of view of the situation. Consequently, Nabil finds himself obliged to steal the baby after his birth, divorcing Jawaher and leaving her to her solitude.
