"Layali Febrayer" Festival Cancelled

After the Saudi King cancelling this year's Janadria Festival, the music industry and the media were shocked to learn today that the "Layali Febrayer" festival has been cancelled as well.
The decision to cancel it came after several stars apologized from performing, and all this to show solidarity with the Syrian people who are suffering day in and day out with the events going on in their country.
The first of the stars to withhold from singing were Abdullah Ruwaishid, Nawal Al Kuwaitia and Nabil Shoueil who said that they are taking a stand against the violence that's happening in Syria and they are showing respect to its people.
Sherine Abdel Wahab who is already under attack from Egyptians for performing on Arab Idol after the Port Said massacre, flew to Kuwait last night thinking that the concert was still on.
Shatha Hassoun on the other hand announced the cancellation of her Valentine's concert, whereas there are talks of Nawal Al Zoghbi following in her footsteps, as well as rumors of people pressuring Kazem El Saher to cancel his concert this Saturday.
