Asala Heads To Acting
The Syrian singer Asala Nasri has agreed to participate in a musical play which will take place in the national stage in Cairo, entitled Alamira W Alsaalouk. The play is written by Mr Hijab who contacted Asala for the leading role where she agreed to enter into the acting world through the Egyptian Theater. Asala will be meeting the poet Hijab in the coming period to go through the details as well as to choose the rest of the cast before the rehearsals. The Play is inspired by a traditional story and will be directed by Rim Hijab. The play-writer said that the work won’t be released till next year because of the huge budget required for the decoration sets and rehearsals.
In the last few years all Asala’s clip were directed by her husband Tarek Arian. Will Asala be at ease working with a new Director?
