The 6th Dubai Internationl Film Festival Kicks Off
In spite of Dubai debt crisis, The Dubai Film Festival put down the red carpet for its 700 glamorous guests. International and Arab stars were at the opening of the Festival on Wednesday night such as Matt Dillon Mandy Moore, Christina Ricci, Queen Noura, Omar El Sherif, Amitabh Bachchan Mostafa Fahmi and Elham Shaheen. The festival, which is the largest in the region, opened with the screening of the musical feature ”Nine” and will screen 168 films from 55 countries over the next seven days, before closing on December 15 with a screening of the movie Avatar! We should note that The DFF announced yesterday that George Clooney will offer insights into his life and work in a special public session entitled “In Conversation with George Clooney.”
