A serene and composed Elissa sat down with Rima Njeim in a radio interview and talked about her latest news. Elissa discussed her latest album "Tisadak Bimin" and its huge success in Lebanon and all over the Arab world. According to Elissa, Amr Diab is her only rival in Egypt having the same romantic style in his songs and being the best selling artist in Egypt. Elissa stated that she is very proud that "Aabali Habibi" was well received by her fans in Egypt though it is a Lebanese song in terms of the dialect. The star talked about her song “Men Gheir Mounasba” which tackles for the first time in the Arab world the subject of abused women; adding that she will make sure that her songs hold effective messages in the future. The Lebanese star admitted that she is a perfectionist and as soon as she achieves something she needs to achieve the next thing that's why her sense of happiness and achievement doesn’t last very long. Elissa said that the anxiety and her aim to achieve perfection in her work have caused her health problems, especially when she was working on her latest album. As for the recent misunderstanding between her and the Lebanese star Fadel Shaker, Elissa said that she did not regret her duet with Fadel but she holds against him the fact that he did not keep his promise of shooting a video.
