Fadel Shaker (Fadel Shmandar) was born on April 1st, 1969 in Saida, Lebanon. He is married and has 3 children. Fadel's musical talent started early at the age of 15. Early in his singing career, he performed many original songs by Arab legends like Umm Kulthum, Abdel Halim Hafez, Farid Al Attrach, Mohammed Abdel Wahab and many others. He had to overcome many obstacles and hardships as a young aspiring singer before achieving fame.
Fadel released his 1st album "Wallah Zaman" in 1998, then came his 2nd album "Baya'a El Qolob" released in 1999. His third album was "El Hob El Adem" released in 2000, and his fourth album "Hobak Khayal" was released in 2001, and contained 10 songs. In 2002, Fadel recorded and released his first duet with the Arab singer Nawal Al Kuweitia which topped the charts for 5 consecutive months. In 2003, he released a very successful single named "Ya Ghayeb" followed by the album "Sidi Rouhi"(2003). Then, many other hits followed such as a duet with the Lebanese singer Yara named "Akhidni Maak" and the single "Rouh"in 2008. In 2006, he released the album "Allah Aalam" with Rotana company. His latest single is "W Iftaraana" (2009) which will be among the songs of his new album by Rotana.
Fadel was nicknamed by his fans as "King of Romance". During his career, he has won many prestigious music awards in the Middle East.
