In a phone interview on Lel Nasher show last Saturday, Lebanese superstar Haifa Wehbe assured to show’s host Tony Khalife that she has nothing against Algeria as a country or people. Her clarifications came after the vast spread of news that portrayed her attacking Algerians and describing them as barbarians. Haifa confirmed to Khalife that the news rumored about is partially wrong as she only meant to attack the violence provoked by a minority of Algerians during the football match and not the whole Algerian population. She then added saying: I couldn’t help it but cry when I saw the blood of an Egyptian woman on the stadium!
Meanwhile, rumors and stories concerning the latest Egyptian-Algerian “war” continue to grow as mentioned previously in an article on Wikeez. How will it end and will stars such as Haifa Wehbe and Nancy Ajram really be banned from entering Algeria? Share your comments and opinion on Wikeez forum: http://www.wikeez.com/wikeez_forum/

As you say 7ushu, it's just a football game.

I am mad at her for what she says publicly! When you are an artist, you should be very cautious when you talk! You have to assume and stop hypocisy!

Instead of attacking a whole country, she should first look in a mirror as I'm sure there would be so much to be ashamed of!

PS: I didn't know her before. Is she a Britney Spears wannabe?

I think you are over dramatizing the subject ! Haifa is an icon in the Music Industry she revolutionized entertainment and she showed no matter her looks and lifestyle that she could be a great business woman! and yes that is her right to be moved when she saw that woman cuz too little people pay attention to the woman's place in the oriental society! I think you are taking out ur anger and rage on the wrong person!

In the stadium, there were 15,000 police officers! Some FIFA members were there too to supervise the security. Camera were filming, recording images and miss Wahbi witnessed a woman being attacked!?
What about the salvage attacks on the Algerian players and on the fans by some unconscious and dangerous Egyptian fans, helped by the Authorities? We didn't hear her! Why wasn't miss Wahbi shocked?

You know what Miss Wahbi, keep on singing and let politics to others, especially dirty politics!

If you don't go to Algeria, it will be a huge service to the Music (the real), to a majority of Algerians and to Humanity! Go to Cairo as they need something else to replace the world cup.
