Pop music star Latifa was born on February 14 in Manouba, Tunisia. She has more than 10 albums including various styles and different Arabic dialects, and her most famous cd is "Nchalla". She has many other famous albums such as: "Fil Kam Yom Li Fato"2008, "Maaloumat Akida"2007, "Ma Trouhsh Ba'ed"2003, "Wadeh"1999 and "Taloumouni El Dounia"1998. Her 1st experience in acting was with the famous Egyptian director Yousif Shaheen who directed the movie "Soukout Hansawwar" in 2001 and she was the leading actress in the musical "Hokm El Royan" 2004 written by the great Mansour Rahbani.
The Tunisian President, Zein Alabdeen Bin Ali, granted her in 2007 the medal of Cultural Merit as an appreciation for her effort in giving an honorable image of the Tunisian artist. In 2004, Latifa received the World Music Award for the great success of her song Ma Etrohsh Ba'ed.
