Is This Really Malek Maktabi? view
isn't that what media people do? exploit their materials/people to the extent then throw their dry bones off to the zombies on the streets? (i hope i expressed myself correctly :D)
the media is about scoops and exclusive stories; it either makes a big deal out of nothing or diminish the importance of a major issue/story/problem.
Malek Maktabi is just another cannibal, devouring the emotions/senses of his guests in order to fill air time. It's not like he's helping or something, on the contrary, he's opening people's eyes to problems that always existed in the dark. Stories that were better left where they are since the audience is still not ready for them, and their reaction to such stories will be either defensive or aggressive. In conclusion, the Arab world is not open enough to absorb such material... it sure would make a buzz and close the LBC's offices in KSA if you attack a subject that is in no way acceptable to the public you're addressing; multiple sexual relations in a religious society is not just a puzzle that one shouldn't attempt/try to solve but it's a discussion not to even mention outside ones thoughts.
