Miss Arab World 2009: The Saudi Mawadda Nour
Miss Arab World pageant took place in cairo, November 11, 2009. Sixteen contestants (18-24 years) from all over the Arab countries were competing for the title.
The Girls walked in their national dresses in front of the jury panel who crowned Mawadda Nour from Saudi Arabia as Miss Arab World 2009-2010, and Jessy Zaher from Lebanon as first runner up. Controversy occurred right after the event ended since some critics found that the winner does not meet the standards required for a beauty pageant contestant. Check the photos and you be the judges!

i consider she is really pretty... i congratulate her.... people should appreciate women just as we are, not as they pretend we should be... furthermore, who decides what are the standars of beauty?? it changes every time...long time before being thin was something horrible... i prefer the miss worlds were selected because of their knwledge, the way of thinking and attitude towards the life... congratulations Mawadda
