Superstar Ragheb Alama, who was proclaimed lately as a UN ambassador for global warming awareness, arrived to Beirut early this week on his way back from Cairo and precisely to act upon this title! The Lebanese singer attended the launch of the first environment certificate in the Arab World at the American University of Beirut. There he met with various environmental activists and signed along with them the "Signature Promise Letter" to preserve and respect all the United Nation’s laws set to protect the environment.
As for his recent stay in Cairo, Ragheb announced that he is currently conducting there a serious workshop in the process of preparing for his new album. When do you expect his new album to be out?
