Who is Lying Mawadda Nour Or The 15 Participants?
MISS ARAB WORLD Mawadda Nour talked, in an interview, about her side of the story. Why are we saying her side of the story? Well, because obviously there are two sides, Mawadda’s version and the version of the other 15 contestants on the pageant. Mawadda claims that she was accepted after she passed written, oral and psychological tests. Wikeez contacted some of the participants and when we asked about the nature of the tests, they said that they have no idea what we are talking about because there were no tests of any kind; they applied for a BEAUTY pageant and they are surprised that people are claiming that it was based on education only. The Miss Arab World title is now changed to The Perfect Arab Girl we will try to over look everything that we know, but can we over look the background of the set on stage during the ceremony that states clearly that it was the Miss Arab World beauty pageant? Wikeez is currently working on an interview with Mawadda where hopefully she will set the records straight and end this controversy.

What if the others are lying because they simply lost? Losers always have arguments about the circumstances surrounding their sudden, unexpected and chocking elimination, as they claim. There's always a conspiracy behind any pageants, contests or even sport events in the Arab World. Maybe the best girl actually won... that's it!

so i read somewhere over the internet that people are criticizing the complaints made by some about Mawadda not matching the minimum required standards when it gets to her looks.
Whether Mawadda is lying or not... this is not the point anymore. We didn't invent the beauty pageants... the West did... and if we're to organize similar events, we either copy the western standards or create a totally different concept with different rules. When you call it "MISS ...", according to the West, it's about beauty and looks. Otherwise call it something else. If it's not a beauty pageant, there's no reason to show the contestants at all... they can call and win over the phone. They don't have to be present at all; they can even range from 10KG to 300KG or look like a goat... i wouldn't care... But make them model for 2 hrs, change dresses, tons of make up, cameras' close ups, etc., ask them a couple of silly questions then call it an intellectual and cultural pageant is bullsh*t.
