Star Academy 8 On LBC?
After 7 successful seasons of Star Academy, the show which was ranked as the number one T.V show in the Arab world last year, it's time for Star Academy 8!
For the past 7 years LBC channel had the exclusive rights to broadcast Star Academy. However, everyone is wondering whether Star Academy 8 will be aired on LBC this year or not, especially since Rola Saad is working on a new T.V show and since LBC's contract with Endemol, Star Academy's production company, has ended. Some are speculating that MTV might get the rights to broadcast Star Academy 8 with the same host, Hilda Khalife, but without its executive producer Rola Saad. But don't worry in all cases, Rola Saad will not be out of work, the lady will be busy with a new T.V show on LBC which will be produced by Vanilla Production Company. According to some reports, the show will discuss women and family affairs and will deal with cultural and environmental matters.
