Video: Will Jim Carrey’s Daughter Jane Be The Next American Idol?
Talent seems to be running in Jim Carrey’s family after his daughter Jane auditioned for American Idol…Well we heard that the results were pretty good for the young star, at the beginning at least.
The 24-year-old who has been working as a waitress the past few months, stood in front of the judges Steven Tyler, Randy Jackson and Jennifer Lopez to explain why she wanted to audition for singing and not acting! This is weird!
She said: "It’s difficult growing up in a shadow trying to find your way. I feel like there is all this pressure to make it, but better."
Only Randy knew that Jane was Jim’s daughter, while it was It was a big shock for Jennifer to know this: “do you remember me? I was one of the Fly Girls?”
Jane was given the golden card to LA. Too bad, Jane’s dreams collapsed in Hollywood after she wasn’t picked by the judges for the semifinals of the show.
The Carrey’s will not hold the torch of the new American Idol for 2012.
