Mohammad Abdo was born in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in year 1948 and he went through a miserable childhood because of poverty. He studied in the institute of industry and majored in manufacturing ships but he was deeply fond of music so he decided to put all his efforts in it. He started his journey in the entertainment world year 1961 from Beirut when he sang in the radio for a show named "Baba Abbas" year 1960. Then he started producing his own songs and working in Beirut and Jeddah. Then he felt that he wants to compose the music for his own songs; his debut in composing was the song "Khalas Daet Amanina" which became a huge success so he continued what he started. Because of his work, Mohammad Abdo is considered as a landmark in the history of the Saudi music because of the improvement he did in it which made the ambassador of the Saudi song.
He stopped singing for 8 years, from 1989 till 1997, and stopped releasing any song or album because of the tragic incidents that were going on in the middle east. He only sang and released patriotic songs during that time. He has more than 30 albums. Some of his best albums are: "Al Amaken", "Al Hawa Al Ghayeb" 2008, "Mouzhila", "Shabeeh El Rih", "Al Rimsh Al Tawil", "Al Borwaz", "Aallamtouha", "Majmouat Insan" and "Wahdak" 2009.
